Quick Links: Canonizing Chesterton

Finally, finally an English bishop is looking to open the investigation to declare Chesterton a saint. This is a very small step towards his eventual canonization, but in some ways it's the most important step, because it's the first. The prayer intentions and miracles towards beatification and canonization can't really begin until he's been declared (successively) a servant of God and then a venerable. And this involves beginning the investigation into his life, and whether it's a life of heroic virtue. I'm confidant that it was, and curious as to why it's taken the relevant bishops this long to even consider this. Let the cause for canonization begin!
